Welcome to Whitechapels of Kent

Based in the Garden of England on the edge of the River Swale, our passion is for the Retro and Vintage eras.
You can find everything here from Furniture to Games, Jewellery to Kitchenlia, Housewares to Ephemera. Attention to detail is as important to us as your morning cup of tea is to you, which is why every item we sell has been lovingly checked and, where needed, refreshed and restored.

Not everything has a practical use, however, and before these items are sent to landfill they are diverted into the hands of The Lampmaker, who will ‘switch on his creative lights’ and turn these items into truly wonderful and unique lamps. Each lamp is created with British sourced vintage style twisted cable, switches, bulb holders and stunning energy friendly bulbs. Each one is then PAT tested.
Everything is available to be collected either direct from us or at an event, or it can be dispatched via Courier Service at the buyer’s expense.
Our items have found their way all over the UK, to Australia, The USA and Northern Europe so we welcome you to join the Whitechapel’s Family by perusing our pages for your next must have item.
